Terms and Conditions

We want your stay at the Louisville Bourbon Inn to be a memorable experience. Whether you're travelling for business or pleasure, our goal is to deliver excellent service and to go beyond your expectations. Please take a few minutes to review these policies and feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

Requirements

All guests must be 21 and over. We do not allow children to stay at the inn.
We do not allow pets of any size.

SPECIAL EVENTS

Due to high demand, rates and policies differ for major events. These events vary each year, but typically include:

Kentucky Derby
ISCO Championship Golf Tournament
Bourbon and Beyond
Louder than Life
James Court Art Fair

ROOM RATES

All rates are for double occupancy.
While we publish our standard rates on the website, rates are subject to increase during special events due to high demand.
For the best available rate, book directly on our website. Third-party platforms (e.g., Booking.com, Expedia, Priceline) typically have higher rates due to additional fees. See our Best Rate Guarantee.

SINGLE RESERVATIONS

Weekend reservations have a two-night minimum stay (three nights during special events).
All single reservations are non-transferable. You cannot transfer or assign a single reservation in your name to another individual or party under any circumstances. You must show a valid photo ID when you check in that matches the name on the reservation.
If more than one room is reserved under a single name, each guest must provide their own identification when checking in.

Deposits and Payments

If your stay is not during a special event, we can usually accommodate one additional person (maximum of three guests) for an extra $55 per night. Special events are limited to double occupancy.
If your stay is not during a special event, and you book more than seven days in advance, the deposit is 50% of your total stay. If you're only staying one night, it's 100% of your total stay.
The remaining 50% of your stay is automatically billed to the credit card on file seven days prior to your arrival.
If your stay is during a special event, the deposit is 100% of your stay and the entire amount is non-refundable.

GROUP RESERVATIONS

Any reservation of three or more rooms is considered a Group Reservation.
Group Reservations have a two-night minimum stay (three nights during special events).
Groups are limited to a maximum of two guests per suite.
A 100% deposit is required at the time of booking for all Group Reservations.
We require that you book one of our Group Packages to reserve:

- All 3 suites in the Carriage House
- All 5 suites in the Mansion
- All 8 suites in the Property

Taxes and Service Charges

We are required by law to charge 6% sales tax, 9% City Tourism Tax, and 1% State Transient Room Tax for a total of 16% in taxes.
A 3% Service Charge applies to all reservations to cover credit card processing fees.

Smoking

No smoking except outdoors in designated areas.
A $250 cleaning fee will be assessed for anyone smoking inside. No exceptions!

Candles, Incense & Fireworks

Lighting candles, incense or fireworks is strictly prohibited anywhere on our property. A $250 fee will be assessed for anyone using candles or incense in our suites.

Alcoholic Beverages

The Louisville Bourbon Inn holds a license to resell alcoholic beverages.

Additional Policies

No pets of any size are permitted.
Service animals we must accept by law are subject to an additional $500 deposit.
Check in is from 3-7 PM Eastern time. If you need a late check in please call us in advance so we can arrange for your arrival.
Check out is 11:00 AM
A full gourmet breakfast is served daily.
Professional photographers, including wedding photographers, can take pictures on the premises after paying a $250 fee. The fee is waived for onsite weddings. All photos must credit the Louisville Bourbon Inn.
