About the Ludington House

Our historic home was built by Antoine E. Cartier who settled in the Ludington area to seek his fortune in the dense pine and hardwood forests along the coast of west Michigan. In 1878 Cartier built this three-story Queen Ann Victorian for his wife, Eliza and their eight children.

You'll stay in one of the eight guest rooms each with it's own private bath. Our parlor features a fireplace and comfortable seating; a beautiful place to read, play games and relax. Ample off-street parking is available.

A full, gourmet breakfast is served every morning. Home-made cookies, coffee, tea and hot chocolate are always available.
